Sacristans
Sept. 10 by Jude

The sacristans are the dedicated men and women who work behind the scenes to set up everything that is needed to make our liturgy run smoothly.  They will set out the vessels, books, wine, and bread used for Mass.  They also wash the bowls and cups after the Deacon or Priest purify them.

Being a sacristan involves time before Mass to get everything ready and a little bit after Mass to tidy things up before the next celebration.

The sacristan oversees the other ministries to make sure all of the other Areas of ministry are taken care of for that celebration.

Because this ministry carries a greater responsibility for the liturgy, dedicated people are always in need.  Please give Mark Voris a call at the Office at 486-0457 or email mvkey@aol.com
